A leading commercial EV manufacturer approached us with a visionary goal — to convert a conventional truck into a fully electric vehicle. To support this transformation, they required highly accurate CAD data of the existing truck structure, including both the cabin and chassis.

Our Contribution

  • Voxel 3D Tech deployed the i-Scan Light API to conduct full-scale 3D scanning of the entire truck. Our team performed comprehensive scans of the vehicle's external and internal components, ensuring that every dimension was captured with precision.

  • Complete 3D scanning of truck cabin and chassis
  • Delivery of high-resolution mesh data
  • Conversion to CAD-ready formats: .STP and .IGES

Outcome

  • The scan data enabled the client to seamlessly move into the electric vehicle redesign process.
